Recipe of The Day

Dog walked, face flushed and slightly cold. Put kettle on.

Tumble a very (very) heaped spoonful of sweet, chocolately ground powder into the metal jug. Pour over just boiled water. Inhale delicious, savoury aroma of fresh coffee.

Wait for four minutes, then gently press the plunger.

Rapidly shake the carton of oat milk, pour into a carefully chosen large flamingo patterned mug and introduce the dark steaming nectar.

Hold mug close to nose and absorb the deeply satisfying delicious sip of that first coffee of the day. Await caffeine buzz, and continue.
